What to bring
- Your swimming costume
- A towel to dry off with
- A towel to sit on
- Sandals or some neoprene socks if you fancy a dip in the loch
- A big bottle of water
Terms & Conditions
- Keep your breeks on. We're not that kind of sauna, swimming costumes must be worn at all times.
- Jewellery should not be worn inside the sauna. Jewellery can become very hot!
- Spectacles shouldn't be worn inside the sauna - lenses may become cloudy or warped as a result of the heat!
- Consult your GP before taking part in the experience if you have any underlying medical conditions or are using any prescription drugs.
- Nae weans – Hot Tottie is open to over 18s only, as we prioritise safety and comfort.
- However, weans are allowed in our Family Sessions! Two kids to one adult ratio, they need to be over 12 years old and it’s up to 8 people. No touching the stove please!
- If you're taking a dip in the loch, you do so at your own risk. It's no surprise that the temperatures can be extremely cold and that currents can be unpredictable. It is your responsibility to make sure that you can swim and that you are prepared for exposure to the cold.
- The sauna heater can reach extremely high temperatures and is designed to generate intense heat within the sauna.
- Be aware that the sauna's interior is designed with limited space, and movement within the sauna may be restricted. Take extra care when moving around inside, especially in narrow areas. We recommend proceeding slowly and avoiding sudden movements to prevent accidental injury from the heater or any other surfaces.
- Avoid direct contact with the heater or any surrounding surfaces that may become hot during use. Severe burns or injury may occur if safety precautions are not followed.
